House Rules
McKenna’s on the Bay looks forward to planning your very special occasion, one that you and your guests will remember. The following rules help us achieve the best possible experience for you.
Room Capacity: Our Balboa room seats up to 65 people. On Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings a minimum of 45 guests must attend.
Corkage Fee: $14.00 per bottle opened. Magnum bottles $18.00
Cake Cutting Fee: $1.00 Per person for any dessert that is brought in.
Deposit: A $200.00 Deposit is required to hold the Balboa Room for a private Banquet. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied toward your service charge.
Decorating: You may decorate the room with your own personal touch, however we ask that no confetti be used on any tables, as it is very hard to clean up. Thank you for your cooperation.
Flowers: We do not supply flowers. However you are more than welcome to decorate with your own. We highly recommend Rita’s Flowers (Rita) to help you with any arrangements. She does a beautiful job with flowers for special occasions for our restaurant when we need her. Phone # 562-433-2357
Table set up: We can set up with assorted table configurations. All of our tables open up at each end to make it easy for large party set up. I will be happy to sit with you and discuss all arrangements concerning your special occasion.
